Use this skill in time with a foe's melee attack to deflect it and break that foe's stance. This is faster than a regular parry.

Obtaining

From the Prison Town Church site of grace, head right down the street until there is a roof on your left you can walk onto. Drop down into the lower streets from this roof. Continue down the streets (sloping downward) past the bonfire set piece with the Omenkiller standing near it. Just past this bonfire, BEFORE the set of ajar gates, there is a small archway on the left. Head through that archway. Continue straight until you reach a cliff and can go either left or right. Turn right, heading down and around some wooden stairs and rocky outcroppings. Continue following the rocky path until you see a large area of tombstones jutting out from the lava. The shield is in the center of this tombstone area on a corpse.
