The Vanguard favors medium to heavy armor and primarily uses Strength and Dexterity.

The Vanguard starts within the Stormgate Gatehouse above the Gatefront site of grace. Accessed from up on the cliffs just northeast of the Stormhill Evergaol in Limgrave.

Note: Martial classes have unique abilities that only remain functional while the player has no weapons or catalysts with intelligence or faith scaling equipped in an active slot.
